Is Breath of the Wild worth buying a new console?

So the Nintendo Switch was released earlier this year and everyone and their mama went out and bought one. Everyone except me. Yeah, it’s cool for playing classics like The Legend of Zelda which had Breath of the Wild which was the Switch’s game that released at launch.

But is the Nintendo Switch really worth it? Sure, you can play games like Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild but most gamers, much like myself, don’t have the 300+ dollars to drop on a brand new game console just to play their favorite games.

Game theory explained this beautifully in his debate with a Nintendo spokesperson. You can check that out on his channel here

If you want the game to play for yourself as well as supporting my blog, you can get the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild by clicking the picture below.

On the flip side, the Legend of Zelda is my shit, an’ I fucks wit’ it. From what I understand, you can do just about anything in this new game and it ultimately changes the way you look at Nintendo’s classics. Such as the way Nintendo utilizing the time travel mechanic in Ocarina of Time and revolutionizing the way we look at most games now, they have taken it a step further and have utilized everything you can do in real life and put it into Breath of the Wild.

Everything from changing your outfit to climbing trees to exploring a vast seemingly infinite Hyrulian world as you please.

Now, I have not gotten the system or played that game as of yet because I’m a responsible father and I have bills and things that take priority over hours and hours of expensive fun. But that’s not what this blog is about. Should I go out and buy a whole console just for one game?

I will also note that I do not have the Wii U either so before any of you respond, I would have to go out and buy that also. Is the Breath of the Wild worth buying a new game system? What do you think?
