Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia

Now, as you know following my blog, I’m a huge fan of Nintendo. Well Nintendo just announced the release of a new Fire Emblem game called Fire Emblem Echoes!

The Fire Emblem franchise has always done pretty well. I love both the story and the strategy that goes into playing the game.

This game will be released on the 3DS April 20th.

Check out the trailer here!

A blog about nothing

So I’m currently sitting on my couch thinking up some blog ideas and venting to an audience of zero, when suddenly it hit me, I’m sitting here trying to conjure up ideas to fit my niche but what I don’t realize is that I AM THE NICHE!!

This website is called Super Gamer Dad! I’m Super, I’m a Gamer, I’m definitely a dad! The number 1 dad, mind you, but a dad.

What should I talk about. What’s going on with Super Gamer dad? I don’t know!

I’m drunk off of 100 proof captain Morgan spiced rum, i just cleaned out my garage at 10:00 pm after putting my son to bed an hour prior and I just realized that I’m currently writing a blog about nothing.

So I’m going to take this precious opportunity to ask my audience of zero what they would like to see from Super Gamer Dad.

What do you want to hear about? I talked about the switch, Breath of the wild, which was weighing heavily on my mind considering my girlfriend won’t let me get it for a bunch of stupid reasons. Like oh, we gotta pay rent, and we’re moving, and we need bills and my son needs food, and we’re broke! Whoopdy fuckin do, bitch, I want the Nintendo Switch so I can waste precious time and money playing a game that has no beneficial outcome other than hours upon hours of relentless fun! God!

What do you wanna see? Comment below. Lmao

Is Breath of the Wild worth buying a new console?

So the Nintendo Switch was released earlier this year and everyone and their mama went out and bought one. Everyone except me. Yeah, it’s cool for playing classics like The Legend of Zelda which had Breath of the Wild which was the Switch’s game that released at launch.

But is the Nintendo Switch really worth it? Sure, you can play games like Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild but most gamers, much like myself, don’t have the 300+ dollars to drop on a brand new game console just to play their favorite games.

Game theory explained this beautifully in his debate with a Nintendo spokesperson. You can check that out on his channel here

If you want the game to play for yourself as well as supporting my blog, you can get the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild by clicking the picture below.

On the flip side, the Legend of Zelda is my shit, an’ I fucks wit’ it. From what I understand, you can do just about anything in this new game and it ultimately changes the way you look at Nintendo’s classics. Such as the way Nintendo utilizing the time travel mechanic in Ocarina of Time and revolutionizing the way we look at most games now, they have taken it a step further and have utilized everything you can do in real life and put it into Breath of the Wild.

Everything from changing your outfit to climbing trees to exploring a vast seemingly infinite Hyrulian world as you please.

Now, I have not gotten the system or played that game as of yet because I’m a responsible father and I have bills and things that take priority over hours and hours of expensive fun. But that’s not what this blog is about. Should I go out and buy a whole console just for one game?

I will also note that I do not have the Wii U either so before any of you respond, I would have to go out and buy that also. Is the Breath of the Wild worth buying a new game system? What do you think?
